My lifelong journey with hats began growing up in Houston where a Texan’s hat is always a wardrobe staple. I properly came into the Hat game 20 years ago when my uncle, Tony Matthews a legend with hats, took me under his wings. In the early years, we worked many road shows while shouldering the season at M.L. Leddy’s Boot & Saddlery in Ft. Worth Texas, famous for unbelievable workmanship. Quality, customer service and correctly shaped hats were always priority. Learning from industry leaders like my uncle, M.L. Leddy’s and The Hat Store of Houston, I quickly found my passion and talent.

 

The hat industry has introduced me to a diverse and impressive community even beyond equine circles. My journey and Texan education in Custom Hats, is the foundation of what makes a cowboy hat so iconic. Fashion Hats are born of this tradition as well as. Each fashion hat begins as a cowboy hat does; open crown, wide flat brim. Leather trades go hand in hand with the hat industry and allow for creative displays as unique as your hat. Our leather goods are a translation of your requests adapted by our in-house artists.

In person service is always our preference, but the knowledge and ability to service remotely is equally important.
